Pamunkey Point Property Owners Association [PPPOA]

HISTORY

The Pamunkey Point Property Owners Association, Inc. was formed on July 29, 2003 by VA Timberline LLC, the developers of the Pamunkey Point Subdivision. The sale of the 51 properties was completed by Virginia Timberline in May 2004. All owners of legal record are Class A members of the Pamunkey Point Property Owners Association (known also as the PPPOA). The officers of the PPPOA were elected on May 13th, 2006 after the PPPOA was turned over to the existing property owners by VA Timberline. On November 20, 2007, VA Timberline executed a release of all further interest in the Pamunkey Point Subdivision, including all Class B Membership.

The first meeting of the property owners on 13 May 2006 resulted in the election of the Board of Directors, with Robert E. Wheeler as the President, Michael Grubb as Vice President, Rafi Khan as Vice President, Mike Arceneaux as Secretary and Alan H. Barbour as Treasurer.

FINANCIAL

The Pamunkey Point Property Owners Association has minimal fees associated with conduct of normal business. The 2008 Annual Assessment for each lot is $200. The Pamunkey Point Architectural Review Committee [PPARC] has a $50 fee for submission of plans for a home, boathouse or any other acceptable structure; the guidelines are available on this site on the PPARC webpage. The Property Disclosure Packet necessary for the sale of a property by an owner or Realtor is mandated by the Commonwealth of Virginia and carries a $50 fee payable to the PPPOA for preparation and mailing of these documents. There is a PROFFER FEE of $6552 for any homes built on the Spotsylvania County Lots 1-47, due before the building application will be granted.
